About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, possess excellent technical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Collect and process laboratory samples.
- Perform diagnostic imaging, including radiography.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients.
- Provide client education on animal care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
To Be Successful In This Role, Your Skills and Qualifications Should Be:
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) OR experience as a technician.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to veterinary care.
